Odei was a project in which Sokoa presented us with a load notebook of a somewhat overwhelming extension. The vertical stacking chair is a real challenge on a technical level, as it is necessary to combine high levels of high mechanical requirements with a very moderate price.

The aim from the beginning was to achieve a simple and robust structure. The idea of opening the shell with a gentle gesture allowed the whole to begin to take shape. There were three elements - The PP shell, metal frame and the die-cast aluminium arms - which resulted in a chair with a simple appearance but which concealed a series of very extensive assembly and customisation options.
